Competition Rules

1. General Terms

These terms apply to all competitions, prize draws, and similar promotions conducted by Pure Dance (Radio) Limited, trading as Pure Dance.

Unless otherwise stated, the promoter is Pure Dance (Radio) Limited, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) only.

2.2 Employees, volunteers, affiliates, and partners of Pure Dance (Radio) Limited, its agencies, contributors, recent guests, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

2.3 By entering any competition, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

3. Prizes and Availability

3.1 All prizes are subject to availability, and no cash alternative will be offered unless stated.

3.2 Pure Dance reserves the right to substitute any prize for another of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability.

4. Decisions and Judging

4.1 The decision of Pure Dance’s competition judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

4.2 Pure Dance will accept no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in transit to the competition address. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

5. On-Air Competitions

5.1 Callers are not necessarily entitled to participate in any on-air competition and may not appear on-air in the order in which they are called.

5.2 Pure Dance is not responsible for reimbursing callers for any telephone charges incurred while on hold or participating in on-air segments.

6. Publicity and Use of Entries

6.1 By entering the competition, participants agree to take part in any promotional activity associated with or resulting from the competition, as required by Pure Dance.

6.2 All entries become the property of Pure Dance and will not be returned.

7. Entry Fees and Charges

7.1 Entry into the competition is generally free unless stated, and lottery and gaming regulations do not apply.

7.2 Standard network charges apply for text message entries unless specified otherwise.

8. Liability

8.1 Pure Dance, its co-promoters, or agents will accept no liability for any loss, illness, or injury resulting directly or indirectly from participation in any competition or promotion.

8.2 Pure Dance is not liable for any costs, losses, or damages arising from delayed or non-delivered items, including tickets, wristbands, or other entry mechanisms related to the competition or event.

9. Ownership and Intellectual Property

9.1 Entrants have no claim to any intellectual property related to the competition or promotion, which remains the sole property of Pure Dance (Radio) Limited.

9.2 Participants may not engage in promotional activity with any third party before, during, or after the promotion without the express written consent of Pure Dance.

10. Additional Rules and Contact

10.1 Participants agree to the possibility of Pure Dance contacting them by email, phone, or text message regarding the competition and its outcomes.

10.2 If Pure Dance is unable to reach a winner within 7 days of selection, or if the prize is not accepted, the prize may be forfeited at Pure Dance’s discretion.

10.3 Where a prize is for an event, winners may receive tickets via email, post, or be placed on a guest list, as outlined in specific competition terms.

10.4 Additional terms and conditions for specific competitions may apply and will be provided at the time of entry. In cases of conflict, Pure Dance will determine which terms take precedence.

11. Third-Party Prizes and Promoters

11.1 Where a third party provides the prize, Pure Dance accepts no responsibility for prize delivery or related issues, though all reasonable efforts will be made to resolve any delays or problems.

11.2 By accepting a prize, winners also agree to any third-party terms and conditions associated with it.

12. Amendments and Future Terms

12.1 Pure Dance reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notification. Acceptance of these terms and conditions also applies to any subsequent revision.
